First thing you wanna do is equip the Balloon in the shop under 'utilities.' Then, just tap the screen to activate the Balloon mid-fall and soar like a majestic, bone-breaking eagle!
Just tap the screen when you're falling to use the Balloon! It's that simple.
From personal experience, make sure you bought and equipped the Balloon first. Then while falling, tap on your phone screen to give yourself a lift!
