Using the camera in Pokémon GO is easy! Tap on the Pokémon you want to catch. You'll see the option to turn on AR mode. Tap the AR toggle to use your camera to find Pokémon in the real world!
Honestly, just toggle the AR switch when catching Pokémon. It's that simple.
From personal experience, you just need to open a Pokémon encounter and slide the AR toggle to on! Your camera will do the rest.
