To use the console in Sons of the Forest, you need to enable developer mode by editing the game files. Open the game’s directory, locate the 'SonsOfTheForest.exe' file, right-click, and create a shortcut. Then, right-click the shortcut, go to properties, and add ‘-console’ at the end of the target line. Start the game using this shortcut and press F1 to open the console.

I got the console working by creating a shortcut of the game's .exe file, then adding ‘-console’ to the end of the target in the properties. Press F1 in-game to pop it up!

Just add '-console' to your game's shortcut target. Easy fix!

Hit up the properties of your .exe shortcut, add ‘-console’ to the target line, and boom! Press F1 to open the console.
