First, go to the game mode selection screen. Click 'Custom Options' in the lower right corner and enter your custom matchmaking key. Ready up, and if the key's valid, you'll be queued into the custom game!

Custom matchmaking keys let you join private matches. To use them, go to the game mode menu, then the 'Custom Options' button. Enter the key, and you're good to go.
