Getting Discord up and running on your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward! Just switch your Steam Deck to Desktop Mode. Then, open up the Discover Software Center, search for Discord, and install it. After installation, you can log into your Discord account and start chatting away. Remember to switch back to Gaming Mode when you're ready to jump back into your games!

I installed Discord directly and it works like a charm. Voice chat and messages, all while I game. Switching between gaming and chatting? Seamless.

Honestly, the easiest way to use Discord on your Steam Deck? Use the web version. Just open a browser in Desktop Mode, go to the Discord website, and log in. Boom, you're set without needing to install anything.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
