The Explosive Trap Rod is all about setting up those big booms without getting your hands dirty. You wanna place it where you think those pesky enemies will wander through. Left-click where you want it, and bam, you've got yourself an explosive surprise waiting for them. Just make sure you're out of the blast radius unless you're looking for a quick trip back to spawn!
Honestly, I rarely use the Explosive Trap Rod. I find setting up traditional traps and using weapons more reliable and less resource-intensive. But that's just me, I guess.
