First, just plug the external hard drive into one of the USB ports on your Xbox Series S. Then, go to 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Storage' and select the drive to format it for game storage. Super easy!

Honestly, just plug it in and follow the on-screen prompts. Couldn鈥檛 be simpler.

I've been using an external hard drive with my Xbox Series S for months now, and it鈥檚 a lifesaver! Simply connect it, and the console usually prompts you to format it for games and apps. Just follow the instructions on the screen.

Make sure your external drive is USB 3.0 and has at least 128GB capacity. Plug it in, format it, and you鈥檙e good to go!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
