To use a forklift in GTA 5, first you gotta find one, which isn't too hard in industrial areas. Once you hop in, you can raise and lower the forks with the right control stick on your controller. Just push it up or down! To pick stuff up, slide those forks right under and lift. Just be careful not to flip your precious cargo by lifting too high or turning too fast.
