Just plug your headphones into the DualShock 4 controller, then go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices, and set 'Output to Headphones' to 'All Audio'.

If your headphones have a built-in mic and support a 3.5mm jack, you can use them for both game audio and chat. Plug them into your controller, and you're good to go!

Bluetooth headphones need a compatible USB adapter. Unfortunately, the PS4 doesn't support direct Bluetooth pairing for most headphones.
