Easy peasy: Large Candy, also known as XL Candy, is used to power up Pokémon beyond their normal level limit of 40. Collect them by catching Pokémon, trading, or walking with your buddy, then head to your Pokémon's power-up screen and start using those candies to go XL!

Hey there! To use Large Candy (XL Candy) in Pokémon GO, just catch a lot of Pokémon or walk your buddy to get some, then go to the Pokémon you wanna power up and use the XL Candy button. Simple as that!

Step 1: Catch Pokémon. Step 2: Get XL Candy. Step 3: Go to the Pokémon's power-up screen. Step 4: Use XL Candy. Yay!

Don't bother, just stick with regular candies. XL isn't that important.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
