First-hand tip: Go to a nearby PokéStop, open the photo disc, click on the empty slot, and pop in your lure module. I’ve caught so many extra Pokémon this way!

Simple! Tap on a PokéStop, then tap on the white, empty lure module slot above the photo disc. Select the lure module from your bag, and voilà! Extra Pokémon for everyone nearby for 30 minutes.
