lol just chuck it at any Pal you think looks tough. If they don't join you, they weren't worthy.
From my experience, the key to using the Megasphere effectively is making sure the Pal is at low health but also one of the rarer, stronger types. I used it on a high-level Pal, and it was a game-changer. Makes battles way easier and your team looks cooler!
