Using a mic in Apex Legends on PS4 is super easy! Just plug your headset into the PS4 controller's headphone jack. If your headset has a mute button, make sure it's not active. Then, go to the PS4 settings, 'Devices', then 'Audio Devices', and select your headset as both the Input and Output device. Make sure to adjust the volume to your liking, and you're all set to communicate with your squad!

Honestly, just plug in and play. Apex and the PS4 are pretty good about detecting mics automatically.

If it doesn't work, might be time for a new headset. Not all mics are compatible with the PS4.

Don't forget to check the in-game settings too! Sometimes the default setting might have voice chat disabled or set to push-to-talk. Head over to the 'Settings' in Apex Legends, find 'Voice Chat' under the 'Audio' tab, and make sure it's enabled. Happy gaming!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
