Forget HDMI, Remote Play is the way to go! Just install the software on your laptop, connect your PS5, and game on.

You can use your laptop as a monitor for your PS5 by using the Remote Play feature. Just download the Remote Play app on your laptop, connect your DualSense controller via Bluetooth, and follow the instructions to link your PS5 to your laptop. It's super easy and works like a charm!

I used a capture card to connect my PS5 to my laptop as a monitor. It works pretty well, especially if you want to avoid any potential lag from Remote Play. Just plug the capture card into your laptop's USB port and connect the PS5 via HDMI cable through the capture card. Instant display!

Just use a TV, much easier!

If you want to use your laptop as a monitor for your PS5, HDMI is unfortunately not an option as most laptops only have HDMI output, not input. Your best bet is to use Remote Play or grab a capture card.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
