So, you’re freefalling from the sky in GTA 5 and wondering how to not become a sidewalk art project, right? Easy peasy. First, make sure you actually have a parachute (check your inventory!). Once you’re in the air, fearlessly leaping out of an airplane or off a building, hit the X button to deploy your parachute. Remember, timing is key! Deploy it too late, and well... ouch. Too early, and you're in for a long, slow descent.

I'll tell ya, nothing beats that first time you successfully open a parachute in GTA 5 and glide over Los Santos at sunset. Make sure you've got the parachute equipped, then when you're airborne and ready for some stylish descent, smack that X button on your PS5 controller. And voila, you're floating. Pro tip: use the left stick to steer and L1/R1 for some cool spins and maneuvers!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
