Actually, it's even simpler. Once you've got your potion selected through the wheel, just tap 'A' to chug that magic potion down. No need to overcomplicate things. Magic is supposed to be fun, right?
I had to figure this out the hard way by pressing every button, lol. But yeah, the D-pad and 'A' button are your best friends for potion time in Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch. Just make sure you're not in the heat of a duel trying to figure it out!
