To use power-ups in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, just run over the item to pick it up! Most are activated automatically but some, like the Pok茅 Ball, need you to press the attack button to throw them.
Power-ups in Smash Ultimate are picked up by running into them. Some activate on pickup; others require pressing the attack button.
In my experience, just move your character over the power-up to collect it. If it doesn鈥檛 activate, press A to use it. Simple!
