I use a keyboard for my PS4 all the time! Plugging it in or using Bluetooth works like a charm. Makes typing messages so much easier.

You can also use a Bluetooth keyboard. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Devices, and pair it like you would with any other device.
