Just activate the main gate and then step into any slave gate you find. It works like a charm!

First, activate the primary warp gate in the Alien Thermal Plant. Then find and activate the smaller slave gates located at various Precursor bases. Easy-peasy warp-a-roni!

You need to power up the Primary Alien Arch Cache first. After that, just step through any slave gate you find. Science fiction travel made simple!

I've done it a bunch of times. You activate the primary warp gate at the Alien Thermal Plant. Then you can use any of the smaller ones sprinkled around at Precursor bases. It's like magic, but with more fish.
