To use smoke shells in War Thunder, select the tank equipped with them, switch to the smoke shell ammo type using the ammo selection menu (default key 'C'), and fire away with your regular fire button. Boom, instant cover!

Just load 'em up, aim at the ground (preferably), and let it rip! Creates a good distraction for your sneaky moves.

Hit the 'C' key to choose the smoke shell, then fire like you would a regular shell. Easy peasy.

Tip: Remember, smoke shells are great for blocking enemy line of sight and retreating without getting blasted. Use them smartly!

You can't use smoke shells because they're a waste of ammo. Dodge and weave, my friend.
