Honestly, if you've got a microwave, you're better off forgetting the steam basket exists. Quicker, easier, and one less thing to wash.

Using a steam basket is super simple and a healthy way to cook your veggies or even fish. Just fill a pot with a couple of inches of water, making sure the water level is below the bottom of the basket. Place your food in the basket, then put the basket into the pot. Cover the pot with a lid, turn up the heat, and let the steam cook your food to perfection. It's like giving your food a spa day!

Just plop it in a pot over some boiling water. Cover. Wait. Eat. It's not rocket science.

I've been using a steam basket for years to cook everything from broccoli to dim sum. It's a total game changer. Just make sure the lid fits snugly to keep the steam in, and you'll end up with perfectly cooked, nutrient-rich meals. Far superior to boiling or microwaving!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
