Accumulate enough tension by fighting, then press both shoulder buttons simultaneously. Boom, you're in Surge mode and ready for some serious action!
You need to fill your Tension Gauge by dealing and taking damage. Once full, press both L1 and R1 (or LB and RB) to unleash Surge and crush your enemies!
Don't waste time! Just press L1 and R1 when your Tension Gauge is full.
