To use the Flaming Sword in Tales of Arise, have Alphen activate his Blazing Sword ability during combat. You do this by holding LT during one of his artes, but be careful—it costs HP every time!

I use it all the time! You gotta press and hold LT when using an arte. But watch your HP, it drains quickly!
