Simple! Equip the knife by selecting it from your hotbar, then just left-click to swing it. Use it to gather resources like Creepvine and defend against small predators.
To use the knife, hit the corresponding number key on the keyboard or select it from the equipment wheel. Left-click to attack or gather resources.
Honestly, you just whack stuff with it. Select it and left-click. Easy peasy!
