You sure you don't mean 'ladder'? Because all you need is to have the climb ability and you can shimmy up those in Spyro 2 and 3 by pressing the jump button. No biggie!

Pretty sure you mean 'ladder'! Just press jump repeatedly to climb after you buy the climb ability from Moneybags. Easy peasy!
So, there's no 'latter' in Spyro, but there are ladders! If you've learned the climb ability from Moneybags in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, just walk up to a ladder and press the jump button repeatedly to climb up!
