Metal Coat is used to evolve Onix to Steelix and Scyther to Scizor. You just need the coat and enough candies for the evolution.

Metal Coat is for Steelix and Scizor evolution. Easy peasy!

You can use the Metal Coat to evolve two specific Pokémon: Onix into Steelix and Scyther into Scizor! Just go to the Pokémon's page, hit the 'Evolve' button when you have enough candies and the Metal Coat, and voila!

From personal experience, the Metal Coat turned my Onix into a Steelix, and it was pretty epic! All you need is the right amount of candies and the Metal Coat, then just tap evolve.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
