Just walk around with it, dude. The beeping noise will tell you when you're close to loot. No rocket science here.

Using the metal detector in GTA is pretty straightforward. First, you gotta have it in your inventory. Then, if you're on a treasure hunt or something similar, just whip it out from your inventory. You'll usually hear a beeping sound that gets faster as you get closer to the treasure. Just follow the sound cues, and when it's beeping like crazy, start digging or pressing the action button, depending on what the game prompts you to do. Happy treasure hunting!

I've used the metal detector a few times, and honestly, it feels kinda random. Sometimes it beeps like there's something, but then there's nothing there. Could just be me not using it right, but it seems a bit hit or miss.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
