Just jump and press the button, but don't forget to actually have a parachute first. Trust me, jumping without one doesn't end well.

Easy peasy! Just leap off a high spot and hit the 'deploy parachute' button. For consoles, it's the X button on Xbox or the Square button on PlayStation. Make sure you've got a parachute equipped first though! You can get one from Ammu-Nation or find them scattered around high places.
Not to burst your bubble, but it's all about timing. Too early or too late, and you'll miss the thrill. Hit that deploy button right after the jump, and enjoy the ride down!
Dude, just hit the button after you jump. It's not rocket science. And make sure you actually have a parachute. Saw a guy jumping off a building thinking he'd auto-equip it like in some missions. Spoiler: it didn't.
