Tbh, you just go to the crate shop, pick a premium crate, and the use coupon button will pop up if you have it.

Just head to the Crate section in the shop and select the premium crate option. The game will prompt you to use the coupon if you have one.

In the shop under Crates, pick 'Premium Crate.' If you have a coupon, there will be a 'Use Coupon' button. Easy peasy! I got a legendary jacket doing this.
