Just look at the shadows! If they're pointing south, you're in the northern hemisphere. If they're pointing north, you're in the southern hemisphere. Easy-peasy!

Use the sun to determine the hemisphere! If the sun is in the northern part of the sky, you're in the southern hemisphere, and vice versa.

Honestly, just spin around until you find the sun. Then remember: Sun in the north = Southern Hemisphere, sun in the south = Northern Hemisphere. Simple as that.

When playing GeoGuessr, I always look at the sun first. If the sun is to the north, I know I'm somewhere in the southern hemisphere. It's been a game-changer for me!

If you're a GeoGuessr player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in GeoGuessr essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
