First, make sure you're flying a torpedo bomber. Head to the setup screen, select your torpedoes, then in the match, fly low and slow to get within torpedo drop distance. Drop 'em close enough, and torpedoes away!
Make sure you equip torpedoes before entering the match. When you're in, fly low, steady, and aim for slow-moving or stationary ships. Easy, right?
Honestly, just fly a bomber with torpedoes, get low, aim well, and let 'em rip!
