How to use VATS in Fallout 4

Using VATS in Fallout 4 is like having your own personal bullet time. Just tap the VATS button (Q on PC, L1 on PS4, and LB on Xbox One), and time will slow to a crawl, letting you pick your targets. You can then use your mouse or controller to select which body part of the enemy you wanna focus on. Higher percentages means you're more likely to hit, so choose wisely! After you've made your selections, hit the confirm button to watch your character unleash hell. Just remember, VATS uses Action Points (AP), so you can't spam it non-stop; manage those APs like they're your precious bottle caps!
