Using VATS in Fallout 76 is a bit different from previous games since it's happening in real-time. You just tap the designated VATS button on your platform (Q on PC, LB on Xbox, and L1 on PS4) to lock onto targets. Your chance to hit is displayed next to the enemy, and you can cycle through targets with the same button. Remember, VATS no longer freezes time but slows it down, so make quick decisions!

Honestly, VATS feels nerfed in Fallout 76. Real-time aiming without the slow-mo effect makes it less useful unless you're struggling to hit fast movers. Good for building crits, though.
