How to Use Xbox One Controller on Team Fortress 2
I've been using an Xbox One controller on TF2 for a while. Just plug it in via USB, launch the game, and it should recognize it automatically. You might need to tweak some settings in the options menu.

Easy peasy! Just connect your Xbox One controller to your PC via USB or Bluetooth, and then start up Team Fortress 2. Go to Options, then Keyboard/Mouse settings, and enable controller support. You're good to go!
Controller on TF2? Just plug it in and play. Easy as that.
If it doesn't work right away, make sure Steam's Big Picture mode is configured for Xbox controllers. Sometimes the game needs a little nudge.
