You can equip your tank in the lobby before starting a game. Just click on the Tank tab in the inventory menu and select the one you want to use!

Honestly, tanks don't do much except look cool. Just equip it from your inventory and show off your style!
As someone who often plays Flood Escape 2, I can tell you tanks are purely cosmetic. Equip one through your inventory in the lobby, and flex on your friends!
When you're in the lobby, go to the 'Shop' and navigate to the 'Inventory' section. From there, select 'Tanks' and choose the one you want. Easy peasy!
