If you're trying to make sure your game isn't busted, just open Steam, right-click the game that's acting up in your Library, hit 'Properties,' jump to 'Local Files,' and smack that 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button. Steam will comb through your game's files and patch up any holes. Kinda like digital duct tape.

It's pretty simple! Just right-click the game in your Steam Library, go to 'Properties,' then navigate to the 'Local Files' tab and click on 'Verify Integrity of Game Files.' Steam will do its magic and check if all the files are correct. If something's missing or corrupted, it'll fix it automatically. Easy peasy!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
