How to verify games on Steam
TabulatingMadam·7 months agoIf you're trying to make sure your game isn't busted, just open Steam, right-click the game that's acting up in your Library, hit 'Properties,' jump to 'Local Files,' and smack that 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button. Steam will comb through your game's files and patch up any holes. Kinda like digital duct tape.

It's pretty simple! Just right-click the game in your Steam Library, go to 'Properties,' then navigate to the 'Local Files' tab and click on 'Verify Integrity of Game Files.' Steam will do its magic and check if all the files are correct. If something's missing or corrupted, it'll fix it automatically. Easy peasy!
