How to Zoom in on GTA 5

Zooming in GTA 5 depends on what you're doing. If you're aiming with a weapon, press right-click on PC to aim, then scroll up on the mouse wheel to zoom in. On consoles, aim with L2/LT and press up on the D-pad to zoom. For the phone camera, once it's active, use the same D-pad or mouse wheel to zoom in and out!

Quick tip: if you're in a vehicle, adjusting the camera zoom isn't exactly the same as zooming in on foot, but you can change the camera distance by cycling through the camera modes with the select button on consoles or 'V' on PC. It gives a better view of your surroundings!
