A reliable way is setting up port forwarding on your router for your PS4 or PS5. Make sure you forward the ports 80, 443, 3478-3480, and 1935. This should help get past the firewall and allow you to connect to PlayStation Plus without any issues!

You could try using a VPN if your firewall permits it. A VPN can mask your connection and might help you bypass the firewall restrictions.

Hot take: Just talk to your network admin and see if they can whitelist your PlayStation. Way easier than messing with settings!

I've had a similar issue and updated my router firmware, which fixed everything. Sometimes outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues with PlayStation Plus.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
