Each letter tile has a point value, and the total score of a word is the sum of the values of its tiles, plus any bonus squares on the board like Double Letter Score or Triple Word Score.

The game's scoring system is based on Scrabble, so letter tiles have different point values, and you get extra points for landing on premium squares like Double Word Score (DWS) or Triple Letter Score (TLS).

It's like Scrabble - each tile has a point value and you can multiply your score by landing on special board spots.

Honestly, it's just about placing the letters on high-value squares and making use of multipliers. Boom, high score!

Played the game for years: Letter points + bonuses on the board (Double/Triple Letter/Word) = your final word score. Easy peasy!

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
