I play 7 Days to Die on both platforms. Sadly, they don't support cross-play, so you'll need separate friends for PC and Xbox.

I've been waiting for cross-play support for ages, but as of now, PC and Xbox players can't team up in 7 Days to Die.

Nope, unfortunately, 7 Days to Die is not cross-platform between PC and Xbox. You'll need to stick to your own tribe for now!
