I have mine standing vertically and it works perfectly fine. It feels like the way it was meant to be, but that's just me.

Why not both? Just make sure it's well-ventilated and you'll be good to go.

Yes, the PS5 can stand vertically or lay horizontally. Sony designed it to work both ways, so pick what fits your setup best!
