Going first in Pokemon TCG gives you the upper edge for setting up your game before your opponent does, but remember, you can't attack on your very first turn if you're the one starting. This rule balances the game, making the decision to go first or second more strategic based on your deck's setup and play style.

Attacking first in Pokemon TCG can be a solid strategy because it allows you to possibly take the lead in the game by applying pressure on your opponent from the start. However, it really depends on your deck's strategy. Some decks benefit more from going second due to the rules that allow the second player to attack on their first turn, unlike the first player. So, yeah, while it's cool to get the first move, it's not always the best move.

Definitely not always! Some decks thrive on reacting to the opponent's moves, so going second can actually be more beneficial. Plus, the first player can't attack on their first turn, which is a significant aspect to consider.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
