I鈥檝e used both. Dark fruit definitely brings the pain with high damage and crowd control, but ice fruit's mobility and control are unmatched.
Dark fruit is great for stunning and immobilizing enemies, but ice fruit gives you crazy range and AOE attacks. Depends on your playstyle!
