Ice Fruit is definitely better for grinding and PvP because of its stuns and high damage output. Door Fruit mainly helps with mobility, so it's great for getting around quickly.

Trust me, as someone who's used both, Ice Fruit is the way to go. It gives you better control of the fight, and you can freeze water to avoid drowning!
I prefer Ice Fruit because its abilities make combat way easier, especially when you're taking on bosses or multiple enemies. Door Fruit's teleportation is cool but just not as useful in a fight.
Door Fruit can be really convenient for fast travel between islands, but it's not nearly as versatile in battles. Ice Fruit wins for overall utility.
