Not exactly! Dragon Ball Kai is a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z with less filler and closer to the manga. Think of it as Z on a diet!

In my experience, if you want the original experience with all the side plots, go for Z. If you prefer a streamlined version, Kai's the way to go.

Kai and Z are essentially the same story but Kai cuts out the filler and has better visuals.

Nah, they trimmed the fat in Kai and polished the graphics but the core story is the same.

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
