Honestly, Japan is the birthplace of Dragon Ball, and it’s insanely popular there, but American fans are super passionate about it too.

Japan lives and breathes Dragon Ball! It started there and remains a beloved part of their pop culture. But America gives it a run for its money in sheer fandom energy.

Dragon Ball's popularity is huge in both countries, but in Japan, it's a cultural icon. In America, it's more of a phenomenal import.

Japan all the way. Goku is practically a national treasure.

I've lived in both Japan and the US, and I can say that while Americans might do crazy cosplay and conventions, in Japan, Dragon Ball feels woven into everyday life. It's everywhere.

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
