Not exactly, but they are closely connected. Dragon Ball Super is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z. If you love DBZ, you'll definitely enjoy Super as it continues Goku and friends’ adventures with new gods, universes, and transformations!

Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super are like siblings. Different shows, but same family!

As someone who's been a fan since DBZ aired in the 90s, I can tell you they're different series, but Super is a direct sequel to Z. It's basically more Goku and friends after the events of DBZ, with even crazier power-ups and villains!

Nope, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Z are different series! Dragon Ball Z picks up after Goku's childhood adventures in Dragon Ball, while Dragon Ball Super continues the story after the end of Dragon Ball Z. Both are awesome, but each brings its own flair to the Dragon Ball saga!
