Nope! Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super are different series. DBZ covers Goku's battles with Saiyans, Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu, while DB Super takes place after DBZ and includes new gods, universes, and epic battles!

Dragon Ball Z is classic, Dragon Ball Super is the follow-up. Think of DB Super as DBZ's cooler younger sibling.

They're not exactly the same. Super continues where Z left off, adding new characters and plotlines.
