Dragon Ball Z Kai is great if you want a more streamlined experience without all the fillers. They trimmed the fat, leaving just the juicy action and story!

The original Dragon Ball Z has all the nostalgia and those epic filler moments (like Goku and Piccolo getting driver’s licenses). Both have their charms, but if you're a purist, stick with the original.

I've watched both, and it really comes down to whether you value a faster-paced story (Kai) or the original's more detailed world-building. Personally, I love the original for its full experience!

Hot take – Kai is better because it respects your time. Ain't nobody got time for 20 episodes of charging up.

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
