Nah, Dragon Quest isn't a rip-off. While the character designs, done by Akira Toriyama (yep, the same guy who created Dragon Ball), might look familiar, the gameplay and storylines are different.

Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball share the same artist, Akira Toriyama, but they are entirely different in terms of genre and gameplay. Think of them as siblings, not clones!

Absolutely not! Dragon Quest has its own rich history and gameplay that sets it apart from Dragon Ball. Plus, Toriyama's art just gives it a cool, familiar vibe.

Dragon Quest is not a rip-off; it's an awesome RPG series with its own merits and has Toriyama's artistic flair!
